Among Women 227: The Life of Prayer and Good Works

July 21, 2017

In this episode:

“Blessed are They”: St. Tabitha of Joppa

“Among Women” Guest: Julie Davis

This episode delves into the every day life of a believer… it is grounded both in the  interior life — the life of prayer — and the call to do good works. In our saint segment, I explain the faith story of Tabitha of Joppa found in the Acts of the Apostles. Tabitha was a disciple described by her good works — specifically supporting widows. Plus in our conversation segment, I have a lively discussion with author Julie Davis about praying every day. Together we explore themes from her new book, Seeking Jesus in Every Day Life.
