Among Women 257: Called By Name

After an unexpected hiatus, I’m back in the studio and delighted to kick off our spring and summer line up of podcasts with my guest Allison Gingras. Together we’ll explore the latest book*** offering from WINE (Women in the New Evangelization): Called By Name.

***BOOK GIVEAWAY!!!
For those who act quickly when this podcast is released… leave a comment and have your name placed in the free drawing for a copy of this new book. Entry comments will be open until May 10, 2021, 11:59PM Pacific Time. Winners will be contacted by email. (U.S. residents only, please.)

I’ll also introduce a saint who is new to me—and one who has particular spoken to me with her example and courage when it comes to aging with grace. I’ve referenced many resources in this conversation, so please check out the related podcasts below! Thanks for listening!

This podcast show has has lined up perfectly with a study group I’m currently part of about being intentional disciples.

Called by Name would be such a blessing to have!

Thank you for following your calling and being such a great example for me as a woman of Jesus.

Love your new podcast! Going to order the book this week. You started this podcast with the story on St Joseph. This stopped me in my tracks. My dad past away May 15, 2020 and this week all my thoughts are on my dad as we prepare for your 1 year anniversary. My dad’s favorite saint was St. Joseph, he had Parkinson’s for 20 plus years but he had a peaceful death. A very peaceful death. Thank you for all you do! You helped me stay sane this year, I listened to your podcast each day on my walks. Thank you 🙂 <3

    1. Pat Gohn says:

      Hi Anne,
What a hard year this must have been with the loss of your Dad. May he rest in peace. May St. Joseph be a strong patron for you and your family!
